Fur, Feathers & Fins!
Creatures are teachers on this interactive learning adventure

Bring classroom curriculum to life with a new experience designed to explore animal habitats and characteristics! Using the updated Fur, Feathers & Fins online or in-store curriculum, lead children in discussion through six unique lessons.

Participants will develop an understanding of:

  • Proper care and respect for animals
  • Diverse habitats
  • Environmental issues and species survival

Throughout the experience, your group will answer several questions designed to determine their Pet Parent Personality. After completing the experience, submit your group's score to find out if your group is a Fur, Feathers or Fins Pet Parent.

Look at What Your Colleagues are Saying

“My class could not stop talking about the trip on the bus ride home! Thanks again for this opportunity.”
-Dottie Vassalo, Pre-K Teacher

“I thought the field trip met all my expectations. My goal was for the girls to learn about different animals and have a good time. They did both!”
-Jennifer Rohde, 2nd Grade Teacher

“The amount of information that the girls took away from the trip was amazing. They learned that hamsters are nocturnal, the difference between a warm blooded & cold blooded animal, and how to tell if a parakeet is a boy or girl. I would highly recommend this to other Daisy Troops.“
-Lynda Waller, Girl Scout Troop Leader
